Geological Engineering Network Srl (GEN) is an independent geoscience and engineering company specialised in the development, evaluation, and strategic management of geothermal energy projects. Founded in June 2021, GEN was established to address one of the most critical structural challenges of the geothermal sector: the persistent gap between subsurface uncertainty and robust technical, commercial, and investment decisions.
Geothermal projects are inherently exposed to high geological and technical uncertainty, particularly during early project phases when capital is committed well before key subsurface parameters can be reliably constrained. GEN was created to operate precisely within this uncertainty space, providing decision-makers with transparent, experience-based, and defensible frameworks that link subsurface outcomes to economic performance.
GEN operates across the full geothermal project life cycle—from early-stage exploration and resource assessment to development planning and execution support. Depending on project objectives and maturity, GEN acts either as a high-level independent technical advisor or as an integrated development partner with operator-level capabilities.
Our Mission
We aim at creating value for all our stakeholders, including Clients and Social Communities, promoting economically viable, environmental friendly and socially acceptable solutions. We will make our knowledge available through training and consulting services to Companies of the Oil and Gas Industry willing to approach geothermal or other energy source initiatives.
